Honoring Forgotten Warriors

Mauka Warriors Luau sets itself apart by exploring Polynesia’s history of wars and warriors – a significant but seemingly forgotten aspect of authentic Polynesian culture. Come enjoy hands-on cultural activities, delicious Polynesian cuisine, fascinating history, and the most spectacular performance in Hawaii.

Interact with our performers during the pre-show activities, which include headband weaving, hand-drawn tattoos, hula lessons, Maori poi ball lessons, Kava tasting, coconut cracking, coconut meat shredding, mini golf, and cooking demonstrations.

Highlights: 

• Hands-on Activities: Guests will have the opportunity to participate in immersive, hands-on, educational activities before the show, including cooking activities, Polynesian tattoos, lei making, kava tasting, free photos with weapons, and more!
• Exhilarating Performance: Our unique show honors forgotten warriors with a healthy balance of fascinating history and cultural dances designed to both entertain and educate. Guests of all ages can expect to be captivated from start to finish as they journey through Polynesian history, and end the evening with Oahu’s largest fire performance!
• Island Feast: Enjoy a delicious all-you-can-eat Polynesian feast to beautiful live music from our talented Mauka Serenaders! Our menu features the widest variety of options on the island, including kalua pork, taro rolls, grilled pineapple, and much more. Additional kid-friendly and vegetarian options are also provided for guests unable to enjoy the more traditional foods.

Special Notes:

• Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time.
• Flashing Light Warning: This show contains flashing lights, fire effects, and dynamic lighting. Guests with light sensitivities may wish to take appropriate precautions.
• Disclaimers: For light rain, the show will go on, and we’ll distribute rain ponchos. If severe weather conditions force a cancellation, guests will be notified by 3:30 pm.
• Vegetarians should indicate their preference at the check-out.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to pick-up time and allow up to 5-minutes of flexibility in actual departure time due to traffic conditions, construction, and location issues. A short walk may be required. No refunds will be issued for late arrivals.
