Turtle Swim & Hula, Hawaiian Cultural Experience!
On this exciting Oahu turtle snorkeling tour aboard our state-of-the-art boat, you’ll experience the beauty of Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles as they glide through the pristine blue waters off the coast of Waikiki at the famed ‘Turtle Canyon.’ Explore the vibrant reef, teeming with tropical marine life. Enjoy a Waikiki turtle snorkeling experience that will leave you with unforgettable memories. While onboard, our crew will perform a traditional Hawaiian hula. This is an adventure that beautifully blends nature with Hawaiian culture—perfect for both beginners and seasoned snorkelers.

Board the double-decker boat and explore its wraparound seating and Titanic-style front railing. Keep your eyes on the horizon for sightings of Hawaiian spinner dolphins, or humpback whales in winter.

Great for all ages and levels of swimming experience, our tour is led by a knowledgeable, water safety-certified crew.

Recommendations:

• Bring swimsuit (please arrive ready to jump in the ocean)
• Bring beach towel (oversized preferable), Reef safe Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Hat
• Long-sleeve Jacket or sweat shirt (Winter Time)

Restrictions/Requirements:

• Minimum Age is 2 years and older.
• Shoes are not allowed on the boat on this tour.
• We allow pregnant women to take part in our tour but advise that it may not be safe during later terms. Please be careful not to slip and fall on board.
• Our boat is not wheelchair friendly.
• We do not recommend bringing expensive jewelry or technology that is not waterproof. Turtles and You is not responsible for lost, stolen, or water-damaged items.
• Touching marine life and coral is illegal by Hawaii state law. 
• Minimum 10 guests are required for the tour to take place.
• All participants must complete electronic waivers prior to participation.
• No outside alcoholic beverages are allowed onboard.
• Tours may change/cancel due to unexpected weather or other circumstances. In instances where weather is not ideal, or our minimum pax count of 10+ passengers is not met, those who have booked the tour must reschedule to another tour or be refunded.

Check-in: Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time.

Special Notes:

• You will be asked to remove your shoes before boarding the boat. This is for your safety. We will have storage for you to place them in during your time onboard.
• Canned alcoholic beer, wine, seltzers, and non-alcoholic soft drinks  $6-$12/each. Sales tax may apply to all optional purchases. Valid government-issued photo ID required.
• Our meals do not accommodate allergies. For your safety, please bring your own.

Itinerary:

8:40 AM / 11:35 PM Bus Pick-ups Begin

• Our Turtle Trolley will transport you to Kewalo Basin Harbor. Enjoy a warm Hawaiian breeze on the way to the harbor with our brand NEW Trolley!

9:30 AM / 12:30 PM – Arrival at Kewalo Basin Harbor, Pier D, Slip 111

• Please check in before boarding the boat.
• Docked in the Kewalo Boat Harbor, our ship – Ariya II – has two decks, surround sound, a Titanic-style bow, and a bathroom onboard.
• You will be asked to remove your shoes before boarding the boat. This is for your safety. We will have storage for you to place them in during your time onboard.

9:45 AM / 12:45 PM – Crew Introductions and Safety Briefing

• Filled with the Aloha Spirit, our dynamic crew members are all masters of the sea! Our crew is CPR-certified and trained in water safety. They will inform you how to stay safe on the boat.
• Adult beverages are available onboard. Please have your ID ready if you would like to purchase.

10:00 AM / 1:00 PM – Depart from the Harbor

• Following departure, we will begin our boat ride by reciting a Hawaiian chant called, “E’ho mai“. It is a prayer to the gods of the sea for a safe trip with plentiful marine life.

Snorkeling with Hawaiian Sea Turtles & Colorful Reef Fish at Turtle Canyon

• Once we arrive to our destination, our crew will begin with a snorkel briefing on how to properly use the snorkel mask, fins and life-vests.

  Then it’s time to jump in the water and explore! Hawaii’s clear waters and a sunny day will produce beautiful colors, bringing the reef to life. You’ll see Hawaiian reef fish and turtles!

Enjoy Breathtaking Views of Oahu’s Coastline

• After snorkeling, relax onboard and take in the breathtaking Oahu coastline views. From the wraparound bow to the spacious upper deck, you’ll have prime views of Diamond Head, Waikiki Beach, and the Pacific Ocean.
• Our crew will share fun facts about Hawaiian marine life, including the sea turtles, dolphins, and seasonal humpback whales that may make an appearance during your trip. Keep your eyes on the horizon—you never know what you’ll spot!

Head Back to the Harbor

• After a fun-filled adventure, we head back to the harbor.
• Sit back, relax, and enjoy the crew’s Hula Show. At the end, please join us as we dance together to spread Aloha and give thanks.

Live Hula Performance

• As we cruise back, sit back and enjoy more Hawaiian hospitality, including a lively hula show. At the end, we invite you to join in and dance with us, spreading the Aloha Spirit together.
