Our Kualoa Grown Tour takes you on a journey through Hakipuu makai, where the past and present meet across working farms, cultural landscapes, and iconic film locations. Guests will explore lush tropical fruit and flower gardens, learn about modern sustainable practices at Kualoa, and see how the land continues to nourish our local community. A highlight of the tour is Molii Fishpond-a thriving example of ancient Hawaiian aquaculture, estimated to be 800 to 1,000 years old. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this 125-acre stone-walled fishpond showcases the remarkable ingenuity of early Hawaiians that is still relevant today. Along the way, you’ll visit iconic locations from major movies and TV shows, while gaining insight into the deep cultural history that makes Kualoa so significant.

Recommendations:

• Appropriate beachwear is needed and guests will be able to shower and are encouraged to bring a change of clothes for those that will want to work in the lo’i.
