  • Duration: 7 Hours 15 minutes (approx)

  • Windbreaker or light raincoat

  • Footwear with aggressive tread for muddy conditions. Either sport sandals with heel straps or aqua socks work great. 

  • And don’t forget a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, and a waterproof camera. You can buy these items and rent sports sandals (as available) at our Poipu shop.


Restrictions/Requirements:

  • All participants must read and sign a voluntary release and waiver of liability prior to taking the tour.

  • The minimum age requirement to participate is 5 years of age.

  •  The tour includes a 3-mile round trip hike and kayak paddling. You must be able to walk one and a half miles each way over muddy trails with irregular terrain & kayak for 60-90 minutes in a tandem kayak with a partner.

  • All participants are in suitable physical condition for this activity. If there are any questions, I (we) will consult a physician.


Location: 

  • Guests staying on the West Side or South Shore resort areas will meet us at our Poipu Shop.


    • Parking (Poipu Shop): 

Just look for the yellow submarine and park across the street.


  • Guests staying at East Side or North Shore resorts will meet us at our parking area at Smith's Tropical Paradise near the Wailua River Marina.


Menu

Your choice is either a turkey or vegetarian hummus wrap. Lunch comes with pasta salad and a freshly baked cookie. Cold drinks are available throughout the day.
