It’s an unforgettable day of wonder kayaking along Kauai’s famous Na Pali Coast. This full-day activity is packed with adventure! Dip your paddle in the deep blue ocean and breathe in the fresh smell of the sea. You’ll feel the power of the ocean as you paddle beneath breathtaking 2,000-foot sea cliffs — this is Kauai adventure kayaking.

Recommendations:

• Swimsuit

• Shorts

• T-shirt and/or windbreaker or light raincoat

• Sport-type sandals or aqua socks

• Waterproof sunscreen

• Billed hat with a keeper

• Sunglasses with keeper

• Towel, and waterproof camera. 

• These items can be purchased at our Poipu shop. We also recommend an over-the-counter medicine for seasickness that won’t cause drowsiness (i.e. Bonine). We suggest taking it the night before the tour, as well as the day of the tour. 

• You can rinse off some salt at Polihale before the van ride home, so you may also want to bring an extra set of clothing and an extra towel.

Restrictions/Requirements:

• All participants must read and sign a voluntary release and waiver of liability prior to taking the tour.

• The minimum age requirement to participate is 15 years of age.

• All must be swimmers.No non-swimmers allowed.

• This is a very long, somewhat strenuous paddle in typically heavy seas. Participants must be able to paddle about 10 miles total, and not prone to severe seasickness.

• All participants are in suitable physical condition for this activity. If there are any questions, I (we) will consult a physician.

• Guests are encouraged to bring along their own sports drinks or energy snacks to enjoy during the day. No alcoholic beverages, please.

Your choice is either a turkey or veggie sandwich with a build-your-own buffet of assorted vegetables, mayo, and mustard. Lunch also includes fruit and a delicious fresh-baked brownie. Cold bottled water and Hawaiian Sun fruit drinks are available throughout the day.
