Kayak, hike and ride zip lines all in one day! You can do it ALL on the one and only Outfitters Kauai Kipu Zipline Safari!

Start your adventure with an easy two-mile paddle on the scenic Hule’ia River while being serenaded by tropical birds. A short hike takes you to small waterfalls where those who want to swim can swing Tarzan-style into a fresh-water pool. After water play, take a wagon ride across Kipu Ranch (where scenes were filmed for The Descendants, Jurassic Park and Raiders of the Lost Ark). Your expert guides will help you get suited up in zipline harnesses for major fun zip line rides. Waterzip, a great picnic lunch and a kick-back cruise on our motorized canoe round out this fabulous adventure in some of the most beautiful backdrops to be found anywhere.

Recommendations:

• Bring a swimsuit

• Wear a T-shirt and Shorts.

• Bring a windbreaker or light raincoat.

• Wear footwear with tread for muddy conditions. A sport type sandal with heel straps or aqua socks with tread works great. 

• And don’t forget a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, and a waterproof camera. (You can buy these items or rent sport sandals (as available) at our Poipu Shop)

Restrictions/Requirements:

• All participants must read and sign a voluntary release and waiver of liability prior to taking the tour.

• Passengers must weigh less than 275lbs.

• The minimum age requirement to participate in the zipline portion of the tour is 7 years of age. Younger kids are welcome to take the tour, but will not be able to zip.

• The tour includes short hikes, swimming, and ziplining. You'll need to be able to walk about two miles over irregular terrain, & paddle in a tandem kayak 60-90 minutes.

• All participants must be in suitable physical condition for this activity. If there are any questions, please consult a physician.

• Guests staying at Poipu area or Westside resorts should check in at Outfitters Kauai in Poipu. Check-in is at 7:15 AM, the return is at 3:15 PM. Second Tour: Check-in is at 10:00 AM, the return is at 6:00 PM.
