USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park

The USS Bowfin Submarine was launched December 7, 1942, one year exactly after the attack on Pearl Harbor and was nicknamed the “Pearl Harbor Avenger”. Credited for sinking 44 major ships on nine war patrols, the USS Bowfin became one of the most decorated submarines of World War II. This incredible destination offers to two separate tours; the Submarine Museum Tour and the USS Bowfin Submarine tour, both come with self-guided audio tours.

Restrictions/Requirements:

• This program does not include the movie/boat tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial. You can arrive early. Each day there are tickets given out at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center on a first come, first served basis. Gates open at 7 am. Visitors should check in one hour before their departure, or the movie/boat tickets are subject to be reassigned to standby guests.

• No purses, handbags, backpacks, camera bags, diaper bags, or other items that offer concealment are allowed in the Pearl Harbor National Memorial.

• Allowable items include wallets, cameras, cellular phones, and bottled water.

• Medicine can be brought into the park in a clear bag.

• Baby carriages and wheelchairs are permitted. Bag storage is available outside the main gate for a fee of $5.00 per bag.
