Get away from the crowds and the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and take a ride to the country side to see our Humpback Whales as they migrate from Alaska.

Just like you, they journey to Hawaii to enjoy the sun and warmth of our islands during the winter months.

Enjoy the whales and their calves as they dance and sing in our beautiful ocean and relax in comfort under our canopied boat with padded seating for comfort.

Choose between our early morning or sunset tours (weather permitting).

WHALE TOUR INFO:

During the months of December through April the Humpback whales from Alaska migrate to Hawaii's warm waters to give birth to their young. North Shore Whale Encounters takes you on a 2 hour journey to witness these majestic mammals which can be found just outside of the harbor. Watch them breach and flap their tails and if they come close enough, maybe hear them sing too.

Our tours can accommodate up to 20 guests and are the prefect alternative to the busy, hustle-and-bustle crowds of Waikiki. Take a journey to the countryside of Oahu and spend your valuable vacation time with the whales, you've earned it!

Transportation is available from Waikiki hotels and the Kahala Resort at additional cost.

 For drive-outs, check in 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time at The Shark Shack located at the Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor, 66-105 Haleiwa Rd, Haleiwa, HI 96712.
